Late to the party

I apologize for blogging so late today. *blush* First I couldn't get into Blogger, then I got distracted with projects. I've been so busy the past few months I'm amazed I make anything on time.

I'm working on a novel that is pretty different from my contracted books. It has a very Southern voice and lots of paranormal happenings, but the romance is quite a bit tamer than my erotic romance stuff. I'm trying to get it finished and prettied up in time for Nationals in Orlando.

This isn't my first foray into sensual rather than erotic romance, however, and I'm happy to say I accepted an offer on another book from Carina Press. I'll be writing the sequel to it next and I'm really looking forward to it. I was afraid I wouldn't get the chance to write in that world again!

Other than that, it's summer vacation here so I have kids running around and a pool open for business. We're doing yard work and house projects and generally staying very busy. I hope everyone else is having an awesome summer!
