Dare I become repetitious? Sharon has already announced the Samhain Authors Spring Showers event at Coffee Time Romance. However, something this cool bears repeating. It's going on all month with almost 80 authors participating and to participate we're all offering a prize.

The only catch is you have to comment in order to win a prize. No, I cannot remember what prize I'm offering. I signed up weeks ago, and the list for week 3's prizes hasn't gone up yet.
Why do we authors participate in such events? Now that's the big question. It's all about promotion and getting our names and work "out there." Coffee Time Romance is a huge review/reader site and they have many members who've probably never heard of some of us. This is our chance to garner new readers who might never have read or tried an e-book before.
So I'll be watching my stats this week and hopefully responding to all the comments from readers. It's all part of this wonderful job. Yes, writing is a job, but it's one for which I'm particularly suited.
ADDENDUM: The prize list is up, so I'm pretty sure my prize is a GC at Amazon.com.

Thanks, Carolyn. It's not looking too promising. The hits on my web site down down yesterday from the day before, and the thing started yesterday.
