Yes, I'm resorting to blatant promo today. I'm getting so excited about my upcoming May release that I can't resist.Okay the truth is my brain is dead or dying and I can't come up with a decent topic for my post today. Plus, I'm anxiously awaiting cover art for my July release. Finally the interminable edits are completed. To be perfectly honest that almost all I've accomplished this year. Three rounds of edits for two books, including the final line edits, plus the galley edits for the print release September 30 of Love on the Run.
In between edits, I've worked on revisions for the ms which I hope will be the first book in a six book series. Now that I finally have time to work on it, I remember I have seven or eight contest entries to judge and the scores are due April 25th.
Anyway, here's the blurb for One Too Many. And if you'd like a little inside info on how I came up with the title? Here's the deal the murder victim--let's just say he screwed one too many married women.

Murder: Guaranteed to ruin a perfectly good honeymoon.
When Miranda French finally emerges from a few days of connubial bliss with her new husband in an East Anglia inn, she eagerly checks out the local shop…
…and stumbles over a body. A mutilated body. The unfortunate victim was known to be a connoisseur of married women, so it’s a good bet that one of the ladies’ husbands is the culprit. If there’s any hope of getting back to the “honey” part of her honeymoon, Randi will have to take matters into her own hands and get involved in the investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector David French, Earl of Middlebury, has a lot more on his hands than an overly helpful new wife, planted DNA and more suspects than he can comfortably count. The killer isn’t done.
And sending Randi away to the safety of his estate may have been the biggest mistake of his life. She’s next on the killer’s hit list.
Warning, this title contains the following: graphic language, lots of blood, violence, multiple felonious hair-coloring accidents and not-so-subtle hints of lesbian activity.
